Reporting directly to the Facilities Customer Service Manager, you’ll join an enthusiastic and collaborative team as a Help Desk Operator for this exciting contract role. With this role, you’re not just answering calls and logging the outcome, you’ll get to coordinate the whole process. As well as being a single point of contact for building faults throughout the network, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the correct maintenance resources are mobilised in time to meet agreed service levels and for updating the progress of the repair work throughout. To get the job done well, you’ll also be liaising with a variety of sub-contractor trades, as well as station managers, internal departments and third-party organisations including Network Rail, so your communication skills will certainly come in handy!
This exciting contract will be ideal for you if you’re experienced in telephone-based helpdesk and coordination roles, preferably within Facilities Management. There will be a lot of batons to juggle in this demanding yet fulfilling job, so if you’ve done it all before you’ll be in prime position to hit the ground running. There’s a strong sense of team spirit in this department, so if you thrive on working alongside others and working hard to achieve your goals, you’ll fit right in.
