The Thought Laundry
The Thought Laundry is about using writing to explore thoughts, ideas, and life issues; used as play (creative writing), or to express thoughts and feelings, or as therapy to discover a new sense of self, build confidence and increase self-esteem. It enables a new perspective on any situation. Dr. Pauline Cooper, an occupational therapist since 1974, has researched writing in healthcare at Masters and Doctor of Philosophy level. Two, six session, manualised courses: Using Writing as Therapy (UWaT): finding identity and UWaT: finding a working ‘Me’, are also available to adult clients and as training for Allied Health Professional clinicians.
